Title: I made a free app to organize STL collections — looking for feedback from fellow 3D printing enthusiasts Hi everyone! My collection of 3D printing files was getting difficult to navigate: STL files, ZIP/RAR archives, preview images and Google Drive folders scattered everywhere. I wanted an easier way to browse my miniatures and open the parts I need in my slicer. That’s why I created Figurines Community, and I’m sharing the first macOS beta for free. No subscription, no app account required. Here’s what it can do: Browse your collection with preview images, grid/list views, search, sorting and filters. Organize files into categories and subcategories. Select multiple parts from an archive and open them together in your preferred slicer. Browse publicly accessible Google Drive folders and download files into your local library. Import and export files between your library and external drives. It supports English, French, German, Spanish and Italian, with a welcome guide and tips to help you get started. Download: https://github.com/S-a-b-b-a-S/figurines-community/releases/tag/v0.1.0 Choose Figurines-Community-macOS-universal.zip under Assets. A few things to know: this is an early beta for macOS 14 or newer. Windows is planned but isn’t available yet. The app isn’t Apple-notarized, so the download page explains the extra step macOS may require to open it. No models or Drive links are included—you bring your own collection. Private Drive folders requiring sign-in and built-in STL 3D previews aren’t supported yet. My goal is to make something genuinely useful for people who enjoy 3D printing. I’d really appreciate your support through feedback: what works, what’s confusing, what breaks, and what would make your everyday workflow easier. You don’t need to be technical to help. Even “I couldn’t figure out how to do this” is valuable feedback. Thanks for taking a look—and happy printing! submitted by /u/Significant-Fun5001 to r/resinprinting [link] [comments]
