Spartanburg County deputies were called around 2:30 p.m. Saturday to a home on Bud Arthur Drive.“Between the two children, we’re estimating that there were approximately 50 stab wounds,” said Graham McLellan with the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old were found inside severely injured and covered in blood.“Some of the lacerations were so deep they cut to the bone,” the solicitor’s office said in bond court. Deputies said the children’s mother, 35-year-old Taylor Gosnell, attacked her kids with a knife sometime early that morning, while it was still dark out.Deputies said they found the children home alone after the 6-year-old called his grandmother telling her he was hungry. The grandmother and an ex-boyfriend of Gosnell then arrived at the home and called police. Investigators said Gosnell arrived at the home shortly afterward, speaking rapidly and appearing distressed.
