Pixady is live! It's a live stage on the internet where one person is on at a time and everyone watching sees them. A lot of you signed up, gave feedback and offered to host. Thank you. Today the doors opened, and it's live right now. How it works, if you missed the first post You book a slot (15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes) and go live to whoever's watching. Only one host is on the stage at a time, so whoever's on has the whole audience. Viewers chat as you go and can ask to join you as a co-host. There's a short intermission between hosts, and the audience stays with the stage. There's no feed and no algorithm. You're on when it's your turn. It's free to watch, chat and host. What's happened in ~7 days Over 400 users have registered with new users joining constantly A little over 9.5k unique visitors so far At time of launch there's around 90 people watching One person tipped £3 I'd really appreciate your help The schedule has lots of gaps over the next few days, and an empty stage is the worst first impression. If you've ever fancied demoing your own side projects, playing a song, trying some jokes, showing off a hobby or introducing your dog to a room full of strangers, grab a slot. If you're unsure, I'll jump on with you as a co-host. You don't need to be good, you just need to turn up. Alternatively just drop in and say hi in the chat. Whoever's on stage will love it. Same as last time: ask me anything about the build (real-time video, scheduling, moderation, the "vision"), and I'd love honest feedback now that it's real. submitted by /u/UKMike89 [link] [comments]
