The Reserve Bank of India has approved Areion Group's acquisition of Aviom India Housing Finance. This approval clears a significant regulatory hurdle for the proposed Rs 936-crore deal. Areion Group promoter Manish Lalwani also received necessary fit-and-proper approval from the regulator. The resolution process will now proceed to the National Company Law Tribunal for final approval. This acquisition brings Areion Group a step closer to completing the transaction.
