As power cuts continue to affect homes across Malta, one local animal carer has issued an urgent plea for help to keep dozens of rescued cats cool.Fiona Broome Camilleri took to social media asking for anyone who can freeze bottles of water or ice packs and bring them to her in Santa Venera, where she is caring for cats and kittens housed across two garages.In total, Fiona has six cages full of felines who are struggling to cope without fans in the sweltering heat.“Unfortunately I did lose one,” Fiona shared, referring to one of the cats in her care.
