Susanne Afzelius has been appointed the new CEO of Svensk Galopp the organisation announced on Wednesday.A municipal director of Karlskoga in western Sweden since 2022, Afzelius will begin her new role on Monday, October 5. Pierre Sjodell will continue as acting CEO in the interim.The hunt for a new CEO of Svensk Galopp began in the spring after it was announced that Bjorn Nilsson was stepping down.
