Gold Market Open:Is Gold Ready to Break Out This Week?GOLD (US$/OZ)TVC:GOLDGold_StrategistThe current situation between the US and Iran is volatile and fraught with uncertainty; coupled with the Federal Reserve's decision to drop forward guidance, the market's overall direction remains highly unclear. Although gold prices may see a slight rebound following Trump's weekend announcement to halt airstrikes on Iran, the broader trend remains unchanged, and the strategy of selling into rallies persists. Looking at the 4-hour chart, gold prices retreated after a period of fluctuating downward movement on Thursday, breaking below the 4100 mark and hitting a low near 4022—bringing the 4000 level within close reach. In the short term, we are monitoring resistance in the 4100–4090 range, with a particular focus on the 4135–4140 zone. On the downside, we are watching the 3995–4000 area for support. Our trading strategy is to sell into rallies where resistance holds. Gold Trading Strategy: 1. Short gold in the 4090–4100 range; add to short positions if it rebounds to the 4130–4140 range; set stop-loss at 4143; target the 4000–4020 range; hold positions if the level breaks.
