A filly by Great Pretender topped Arqana's Lumet Show at €43,000 on Saturday, Sold as lot 19, the bay caught the eye of David Cottin. The sale was organised by Arqana and David Lumet.She is out of a full-sister to group performer Ventura Highway (Kapgarde) and half-sister to dual Group 1 winner Northerly Wind (Saint Des Saints). Already named Fuente Perida, the two-year-old is a daughter of La Plaza (Kapgarde).Both Musique Classique (Goliath Du Berlais) (lot 25) and Brady (Bathyrhon) (lot 33) sold for €40,000 each. The former, a filly, is out of Mado (Masked Marvel) and hammered to N. George and A Zetterholm. The latter, the day's highest priced colt, changed hands to Thingies Syndicate.The 2026 edition grossed €719,000 with 37 lots sold from 64 offered (58%).
