Applied my topical minoxidil for the 1st time today and it took over 30 minutes… how do you apply yours?

Wait 5 sec.

I used the linked video as a guide, but I found it very hard to part my hair and keep it parted. It could have to do with my haircut. I have short hair, around chin length, with lots of shorter layers cut into it. It seems like it would be a lot easier if my hair was all one length, and longer overall. I struggled to clip my hair back and keep the parting, like I said. I also am unsure of how precise and thorough I need to be. I parted my hair about every 1/2 inch, which worked pretty well for the top and okay for the sides. The back was a nightmare though, and I felt like I lost track of which areas I had applied to versus not because I couldn’t keep it “organized” by parting it neatly. It was too short to clip back properly and just frustrating. How do you apply yours? How careful and thorough do I need to be? My hair loss is pretty much all over except for around my nape, and it is most intense right on top. submitted by /u/KitchenConsequence41 [link] [comments]
