AcuityTrading has signed Bullwaves, a multi-asset trading brand run bySeychelles-licensed Equitex Capital Limited, to run its fullmarket-intelligence software across the brand's platform, the two companiessaid. The deal isAcuity's second inside the Bullwaves group, landing weeks after theLondon-based vendor struck a comparable agreement with the group's proprietarytrading arm.Under theagreement, Bullwaves will fold Acuity's market, event and trade intelligence tools into atrading environment that the company says covers mobile and desktop, includingMetaTrader 5. Acuity, anAcuity Analytics company that has supplied research tools to brokers since2013, said Bullwaves keeps control over how the content is displayed andgoverned. Two Deals, One TradingGroupAcuityfirst appeared in the group in June, when it signed Bullwaves Prime, the proprietary trading arm thatruns trader evaluation programs. Both entities sit under the Bullwaves Groupbanner and share the same operations chief, Paolo Vullo, who spoke for thegroup in each announcement.Adding theretail brand extends a relationship rather than starting one. Bullwavesdescribes its platform as offering access to multiple asset classes and listsMetaTrader 5 among its options, with Equitex Capital authorised and regulatedby the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles.Vullo saidthe goal is a platform where "market information is easier to understandand more relevant" to the decisions traders are weighing.Acuity's Deal Run and AIPushTheBullwaves agreement adds to a busy stretch for Acuity. In May, the vendor tookan equity stake in MarketReader, a New York startup that generatesreal-time explanations for market moves.CEO AndrewLane then took the top job at MarketReader two weeks after the deal closed, and now leads both firms. Around the same time, Acuity co-integrated its data into WNSTN'sAI chatbot forbrokers, and this month it placed its full suite insideBlueberry's Pulse product.Lane saidbrokers now want "structured, contextual information that sits inside theplatform experience," a pitch he has repeated across recent tie-ups. Heframed the Bullwaves deal as backing for what he called intelligence-ledplatform development.Research Tools Turn Into aStandard Add-OnAutomatedmarket analysis has moved from a selling point toward a baseline brokerfeature. Acuity's own April launch of chart pattern recognition put it into a category dominated fortwo decades by Autochartist, the Cyprus-based vendor that oneZero acquired in February 2025 and nowfeeds into platforms such as cTrader.Paris-basedTrading Central covers similar ground, selling technical and analytics feedsthat brokers rebadge as their own. Larger names are keeping the work in-house,with XTB in July launching an AI analytical chat built on LSEG and Reuters data.Acuity isselling a white-label bundle that brokers embed without building it themselves, and the Bullwaves deals show that pitch reaching both the retail and prop sidesof a single group. The suiteblends AI-supported processing with analyst input, and Acuity says its outputsare informational, not personalized advice. This article was written by Damian Chmiel at www.financemagnates.com.
