As part of the lead-up to the 1.0 launch, NPC Studio announced that new furniture is an added marriage unlock and bonus when you choose to commit to one of the Fields of Mistria love interests. The developer also showed a video on social media that showed two pieces of furniture someone would get for choosing to marry the bachelor Eiland. In the announcement, the team noted that people get three pieces of furniture tied to their love interest and their interests after marriage in Fields of Mistria. The video then shows two of the ones Eiland comes with. One is his desk with chair that features lots of research on it. The other is a blue couch. After placing it, it seems there is special dialogue that shows he recognizes the items are there. He references that the character just placed the two pieces of furniture, then in the video says, “Doesn’t our furniture go perfectly together?” Here’s that full teaser: 1.0 – Coming Aug 5thCreate a cozy space for your spouse! In a 1.0 launch FAQs, it noted that the person you chose as a partner would become your spouse. However, anyone else you were dating or romancing would be then demoted to “best friend” after you chose to marry one of the other Fields of Mistria love interests. Fields of Mistria will leave early access for the PC on August 5, 2026 and console ports consideration will be determined in the future after the 1.0 launch.
