My little one asked for Lebrons many years ago, stating that some other kids wouldn't be friends without them. I told her thay kids who wouldn't be friends without a certain shoe are garbage people who aren't real friends. Never mind that this was elementary school, we didn't live in Cleveland, and she didn't like basketball.
