Webull launched Managed Bond Portfolios today (Monday), handingits advisory arm discretion to buy and hold individual bonds on behalf ofretail clients. The company built the service on technology from Moment, a NewYork fixed-income software firm, and is offering it only to U.S. investors.Two strategies are available at launch. Enhanced Cash holdsU.S. Treasury securities maturing within two years, takes a $500 minimum andcharges 15 basis points a year.High Income spreads money across investment-grade andhigh-yield debt, requires $2,000 and costs 30 basis points. Webull said thestrategy aims for annualized income above 6% over time, which is a target andnot a guarantee.Pricing Undercuts the Separately Managed Account MarketWebull said individually managed bond portfolios havehistorically required minimums of $250,000 or more, with annual management feesof 0.50% to 1.00%. Monday's launch is thefirst of those items to ship.The company has run a steady release schedule this year,adding mutualfunds inside IRA accounts in June.Last week it putevent contracts into its paper trading environment.
