Let's put to bed something that social media has claimed: No, the theater was not empty at the IMAX Odyssey showing I attended the other night. It was a work night (Sunday) and with a 3 hour runtime went until about 10:20 (of course with 20 minutes of "mandatory" commercials before the firm began), so there you go. There were butts in nearly every seat.Now the poem itself -- the original Odyssey by Homer -- is not a historical document. It never was; there is no evidence, for example, of direct action by Gods on man at that time in history.
