Foot issues run in our family(pressure issues that become complicated by diabetes, T1 & 2 all over), so all my kids had striderites(recommended by doc). They were pricey!! So i did without other things to make sure they had them. I remember when my son needed shoe inserts(26w preemie diagnosed CP)& 83 custom shoes(in 03), I saved. $5 a week went in a drawer so I could get him shoes 2x/yr. So I dont find $60 shoes to be outrageous, but the begging is insane!! I cannot even imagine asking someone to pay for my choices in kids shoes!!!
