The nighttime parade and fireworks have previously occupied carefully spaced positions on Magic Kingdom’s schedule, with fireworks presented between two parade performances. Guests hoping to see both should verify the complete entertainment lineup for their specific date rather than moving only the fireworks entry in their itinerary.Hollywood Studios presents a different calculation. Fantasmic! is not merely a conventional fireworks display. Disney describes it as a 30-minute open-air nighttime musical featuring live characters, water effects, projections, stunts, and pyrotechnics inside the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater.More importantly, guests do not simply arrive at 8:30 p.m. and immediately sit down. The separately ticketed event operates on select nights from August 7 through October 31, including September 1—the day immediately after the new Happily Ever After time begins.On those party nights, regular Magic Kingdom admission does not include the evening event, and the park presents Halloween entertainment instead of its standard nighttime lineup.
