Cameron Menzies was rushed off the stage in concerning scenes during his World Matchplay Darts clash on Wednesday night.The Scottish star was taking on Ross Smith, who was suddenly forced to help out his opponent as he struggled at the oche.Menzies was rushed off stage on Wednesday night in some worrying scenesDuring the third leg of the game, Menzies paused before his shot, walking away and looking to be unwell. Smith then walked over to him as he worryingly stumbled backwards and went down onto his haunches.The Sky Sports broadcast cut away from the scenes as Menzies walked away, with what happened to him still unclear.Host Emma Paton then revealed that Menzies would not be returning to the stage to complete the match with Smith. That came after she explained: “We are having a break in our first match because Cameron Menzies is unwell.“All we know at the moment is that he is being seen to by St John’s Ambulance.“He is with some medics at the moment.
