Kyle Brandt has announced he will no longer appear on The NFL Today show, ending his five-season run contributing to CBS program.In a post on X, Brandt thanked the network for offering him the kind of ‘creative freedom’ that he couldn’t have found on any other pregame show.Broadcaster Brandt has confirmed he will no longer appear on The NFL Today on CBSGetty“Thank you to my friends at The NFL Today on CBS,” he posted Monday.“We say goodbye after 5 years of One Shot / Many Takes.“It’s very challenging to do something original on a pregame show, and the creative freedom + production value you gave me was staggering.”Brandt first started appearing as a regular on CBS in 2022, when the network enlisted him to make appearances alongside former Good Morning Football (GMFB) colleague Nate Burleson.He was afforded the freedom to build cinematic, single-take video essays, which eventually turned into the unique One Shot / Many Takes feature referenced in his goodbye message.In those segments, Brandt provided his expert commentary in a one-shot, storytelling style.After he announced his news, NFL legend turned analyst J.J. Watt led the reaction on social media.“We could never wait to see what in the world you were going to do next.
