India is developing a Hub and Spoke aviation model to become a global hub. Air India launched new flights connecting smaller cities to international destinations. This initiative aims to provide seamless travel for passengers from Tier-II and Tier-III airports. The government plans to develop 4 hubs and 40 additional airports for this purpose. Future expansion will include flights from Ahmedabad, Goa, and Kochi.
