Rama Rao took up the investigation. Acting under the orders of Prakasam District SP V. Harshavardhan Raju and the supervision of Darsi DSP P. Balamuralikrishna, the CI solved old, pending theft cases, arrested the woman and recovered the jewellery. She will be produced before the Darsi court.Satupati Kumari, wife of Brahmayya and a resident of Sai Nagar, was arrested near Samskruthi School on Addanki Road. On questioning, she confessed to the theft. The police said several theft cases had been registered against her in the past.
