NVDA: Has This Chip Finally Flipped the Script? NVIDIA CorporationBATS:NVDAAkeelahTradersA couple of months ago, it seemed like every other question was, "Why is NVIDIA falling?" The company had just reported outstanding earnings. AI was still dominating the headlines. Analysts couldn't stop talking about how strong the company was. Yet, the stock kept moving lower. To most people, it didn't make sense. But if you've been following our previous NVDA analyses here on TradingView, this move wasn't a surprise at all. Back in late May and early June, we identified an H4 Break of Structure (BOS) to the downside and explained that, despite all the bullish news, the market structure suggested a deeper pullback was likely. We weren't interested in guessing where the bottom might be—we simply followed the structure. Our expectation was for price to work its way back into the Daily Demand Zone and, ideally, fill the Daily Fair Value Gap around $190-$191. That's almost exactly what happened. On June 29, NVDA tagged that Daily FVG almost to the dollar before buyers stepped back in. At that point, we shifted from looking for weakness to watching for evidence that institutions were accumulating again. Since then, we've seen exactly what we were waiting for—an H4 BOS to the upside followed by a Return to the Source. That tells me the selling pressure has paused and buyers have regained short-term control. Now we're approaching another important decision point. Price is currently testing the last Daily Supply Zone. A convincing Daily close above $214.70 would be an important sign that buyers are gaining additional strength. However, don't be surprised if the market gives us one more shakeout first. I would actually welcome a retracement back toward the $200 area before looking for another push higher. If that scenario develops, my next major upside objective remains the H4 BOS Supply Source in the $230-$238 area. Could I be wrong? Absolutely. Markets don't owe any of us certainty. That's why I don't marry predictions—I follow structure. If the structure changes, my analysis changes with it. The bigger lesson isn't that we "called" the move. The lesson is that price often tells the story long before the headlines do. That's why I spend more time studying market structure than financial television.
