Weiss Schwarz Blau Card Game Will Be Discontinued

Bushiroad announced that it will discontinue the Weiss Schwarz Blau card game after the release of the Revue Starlight booster pack that’ll come out on October 16, 2026. That being said, there will still be the World Grand Prix this year, with a Fate/strange Fake title cup as one of the events. It is still possible to find cards and boosters like for the Sanrio set worldwide on places like Amazon. In the statement that Bushiroad made on the card game’s official website, the company thanked everyone who played and worked on Weiss Schwarz Blau since service began in 2022. It did not include a reason for the discontinuation. The website also did not mention if it will continue to produce cards without introducing any new ones, or if the company will only sell them until it runs out of its existing stock. Official tournaments will continue until December 2026. Currently, there are seven tournaments planned in Japan for the rest of the year: September 5, 2026: Hakata September 22, 2026: Kyoto October 3, 2026: Tokyo October 17, 2026: Sapporo November 3, 2026: Sendai November 8, 2026: Nagoya November 28, 2026: Kanazawa There will be seven different tournaments to participate in as well. Not every tournament will be available on every date. The three title cups are for Tougen Anki, Fate/strange Fake, and Detective Conan. For those, you can only use decks comprising cards from the respective series. Bushiroad will discontinue Weiss Schwarz Blau card game on October 16, 2026, and the Revue Starlight booster will be the last new pack in the TCG series.
