Galaxy Tab S11 series gets July 2026 security update

While Samsung is busy promoting its new flagship foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series and the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the brand isn't slowing down software updates for its older devices.The company has started rolling out the July 2026 security update to the Galaxy Tab S11+ and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, with the tech giant's home market, South Korea, being the first to get it.For the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra's non-cellular variant, the update is 331.78MB in size and carries firmware version X930XXS7BZG3. The Galaxy Tab S11+ is receiving a similar-sized update with firmware version X730XXS7BZG3 (via Tarun Vats).The July 2026 security patch fixes 57 security vulnerabilities found in the previous software. Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to Galaxy Tab S11 series devices in other markets over the next few days.Once the tech giant makes the update available in your region and for your tablet, your device will send you a notification about it. If it doesn't do that by the end of this month, you can check for it manually by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
