7/23/26 - $ens - "Battery" 1... pass for nowEnerSysNYSE:ENSVROCKSTAR7/23/26 :: VROCKSTAR :: ENS "Battery" 1... pass for now - the ai infra/ tag along has really lifted everything, even adjacent - numbers have come up for '27 over the last 12mo, but *checks notes* 10%, but stock more than 100% rally? meh - in fairness, this is only profitable co in battery land. that is worth a lot in the graveyard of flashy presentations and hand waiving - defense is a defn hidden gem inside this portfolio esp in current times - but a decent chunk of profit (over $150M a year) is govt mfg tax credits and we're in a midterm year - can you buy better beta at 12x '17 EBITDA and N2Y ebitda cagr hardly double digits... "easily" is the short answer - so i'm turning over rocks in buckets of stocks i've not seen before, will be doing this a lot in the coming months as we see rates higher, risk off... and i am ready to pounce as everyone else is dumping bags. - but for now, i'd require at least another 20% lower from here to underwrite what i put at ~7% fcf yields, AND EVEN THEN, perhaps other stuff has gotten cheaper (as is usually the case) and I'm passing ANYWAY. - so for now, if this is the most "ownable" name in battery, and i'm a pass... easy to put the trading view alert on it... and know i turned over the rock.
