The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) center said on Monday that a tanker had been hit by a projectile in the Strait of Hormuz.The incident occurred eight nautical miles northeast of Limah, Oman. “Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO," the British shipping monitor said in its report.
