The US has expanded its air campaign against Iran over the past two weeks after a ceasefire collapsed amid renewed fighting over the Strait of Hormuz. Initial strikes targeted Iran's naval assets, coastal defences and missile sites before widening to include bridges, transport links, communications towers, water infrastructure and military facilities deeper inside the country.
