Astronaut Anil Menon will perform spacewalks to upgrade solar arrays and antennas. These spacewalks will prepare the orbital lab for future solar array installations. A critical communication antenna will be replaced during the second spacewalk. New data and power cables will be connected for ongoing station maintenance. Menon is scheduled to spend eight months conducting scientific experiments in orbit.
