The streamer announced that the next chapter will conclude the Emmy-winning drama when it premieres in 2027.Who will be in the cast?On March 10, 2026, Deadline reported that Jeff Daniels will be joining the show. “In a major recurring role, he will play Lukas, a self-made billionaire and founder of a well-known investment firm,” the outlet shared.Deadline further noted “in addition to Witherspoon and Aniston, Daniels joins a returning cast that includes Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie, and Jon Hamm.” It’s unclear whether season 4 newcomers Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, Boyd Holbrook, Marion Cotillard, and Jeremy Irons will return.On March 19, 2026, Deadline also revealed that Reneé Rapp will be joining the cast of The Morning Show season 5. Rapp, according to the outlet, has been “tapped for a major recurring role, playing Samantha, a young rising star in the UBN news division determined to make it in media on her own terms.”More recently, on March 27, Deadline reported that Sean Hayes has joined season 5 in a recurring role.
