The structure spent over a year in the esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, but is coming down as the Disneyland70 festivities draw to a close on August 9, 2026.At first, some of the towers and roofs of the Sleeping Beauty Castle structure were still visible, along with some stained glass details. Now, according to WDWNT, the entire sculpture has disappeared, with the remaining elements presumably hidden behind the teal-blue construction walls. The outlet shared a photo of the construction site on social media:The Sleeping Beauty Castle sculpture was decorated with colorful stained glass and featured five towers inspired by the original Disneyland Park lands: Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, and Main Street, U.S.A. It also featured a silhouette of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse holding hands; however, Disneyland Resort replaced that part of the sculpture partway through the 70th-anniversary celebration after viral social media posts claimed that Walt’s hat made him look like President Donald Trump.Credit: DisneyThe rest of the Disneyland70 festivities continue through August 9, 2026.
