Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's office will soon relocate from Fort St George. This move is due to insufficient space within the historic British-era building. Operations will shift to the modern Namakkal Kavignar Maalaigai building. Several government departments will also move to the tenth floor there. The transition is expected to be completed by mid-August.
