I am growing out dyed hair and want to get as close as realistically possible to my genetic maximum growth rate. I know none of this will make my hair grow twice as fast. My goal is simply to remove anything that might be holding it back. Topically, I use a Czech leave in scalp serum containing adenosine, taurine, acetyl cysteine, panthenol, arginine, niacinamide, acetyl tyrosine, biotin, inositol, MSM, hydrolyzed keratin, nucleosides and pea sprout extract. I mix it roughly half and half with a caffeine scalp serum. I massage my scalp regularly with it, use red light therapy on my scalp and hairline, and microneedle my scalp about once a month. Internally, I take collagen, MSM, coenzyme q10, omega 3 and glutathione for general antioxidant and cellular support. I also tend to undereat because food does not interest me very much, so I am now focusing on getting enough total calories and protein. I want my body to have enough energy available rather than treating hair growth as a low priority. Is there anything useful I am missing, or anything here you think is unnecessary? submitted by /u/petuela [link] [comments]
