A group of hunters, trappers and construction truck drivers have raised an impressive €56,410 for Puttinu Cares after hosting a massive community fundraiser near the Dingli Cliffs.On the evening of 24th July, a road overlooking the iconic cliffs was closed to traffic and transformed into an open-air dining venue for more than 1,000 people, who attended the second edition of the group’s annual pork feast.The initiative, now in its second year, was organised with the support of the Dingli Local Council, along with a number of volunteers and sponsors who helped bring the event to life.The organisers hope the fundraiser will become a yearly tradition, with the aim of continuing to support the invaluable work carried out by Puttinu Cares, which assists Maltese patients and their families receiving treatment overseas.The €56,410 raised during the event was officially presented to Puttinu Cares on Sunday, marking another successful year for the community-led initiative.Share this amazing initiative!•
