The Englishman was brought in to lead the line following the departure of Harry Kane but has failed to do so as many would have hoped since his move.The former Bournemouth man has had to deal with injuries ever since he joined Tottenham, which has hindered his ability to make a notable impact.It is no surprise, though, that Tottenham are now looking to bolster their attacking ranks this summer given how underwhelming the attack was last season.Eli Junior Kroupi continues to be linked with a move to Tottenham and, should he join, that will only leave Solanke’s starting spot in jeopardy.Having a strong game against Sydney and throughout the rest of pre-season will very much help him keep his place in the Tottenham side.Lucas Bergvall faces a fight for his Tottenham futureLucas Bergvall is one who wants to leave Tottenham this summer as he is in search of more playing time in his preferred number eight role.Spurs, on the other hand, are not keen on losing the Swede this summer. The club will have to decide on his future soon.Bergvall’s desire to depart stems from the additions of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, two signings who secured big-money moves to Spurs costing £185 million.With such fees, the two new midfield additions look set to be starters. Displacing them from the starting XI will be difficult, but that is the task facing Bergvall.This pre-season could well be the perfect opportunity for the young midfielder to stake his claim, and doing so from the Sydney game onwards could very much help his chances.Destiny Udogie has to seize his chance for SpursRoberto De Zerbi opted for a much younger side against Auckland FC as he looked to reduce injury risks to his senior players following the long trip from England to Australia.That saw senior stars, including Destiny Udogie, miss out. The former Bayern Munich man impressed from the bench against Auckland FC, grabbing a well-worked assist.He is currently the only fit left winger at the club, with Wilson Odobert injured and Simons, who is also capable of featuring out wide, unavailable.Pre-season offers Tel the chance to stake his claim for the left-wing role and, should he carry his impressive cameo from the game against Auckland into the Sydney match, it will do his confidence a lot of good ahead of the new season.Mikey Moore can boost his Spurs prospectsMikey Moore is one player who has been heavily involved in Tottenham’s pre-season games so far this summer.The teenager, fresh from an impressive loan spell in Scotland with Rangers, looks very keen to continue his development.Moore mentioned after the game against MK Dons that he wants to play in the Premier League.
