FromSoftware and Nintendo opened up registration for a chance to get to take part in the closed The Duskbloods Network Test. It is now possible to sign up on the official site for a chance to be picked and participate. Note that anyone who does sign up for the chance must also possess an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription to take part since it is an online multiplayer title. Actually signing up to be considered for the August 2026 beta is simple. First, you need to ensure you are logged into your Nintendo Accounton whatever device you’re using. Then, visit the official site, provide your details, and apply. Rather than this being random, Nintendo and FromSoftware specifically noted on the page that “participants will be selected by order of sign-up.” People will be notified on August 7, 2026 if they can take part and will be given an eShop download code via the official site to use to take part. If you are picked and get that code, it can be redeemed as early as August 18, 2026 to download and prepare for the test that runs between August 21-23, 2026. Said beta will consist of five sessions designed to check balance, multiplayer, and server load. It will only consist of some elements currently in development from the full game. Note that if you are picked, you can’t share your gameplay or screenshots. The official site noted that the Capture Button will not work if pressed during The Duskbloods Network Test. The Duskbloods will come to the Nintendo Switch 2 and the closed Network Test registration is open between July 22, 2026. Said beta will take place between August 21-23, 2026.
