Opposition parties on Monday sought an urgent discussion in the Rajya Sabha on the alleged use of force against students protesting the NEET paper leak issue at Jantar Mantar. Congress and TMC MPs moved Rule 267 notices demanding statements from the government over allegations of lathi-charge, tear gas and pellet gun use, as the Centre prepared to introduce a Bill in the Lok Sabha to strengthen the anti-paper leak law with stricter punishments.
