Cargo vessel traffic through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait has plummeted to multi-month lows following Houthi attacks against Saudi oil facilities and tankers in the Red Sea region. According to data from maritime tracking firm Kpler, only 11 cargo ships transited the strait in the last 24 hours.At the same time, data indicates that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz also remains at a significant low, with fewer than 10 merchant vessel transits per day recorded over the weekend.
