Reigning Austrian Cup winners LASK got off to the perfect start in its competitive schedule.LASK breezed past lower-league opposition Kalsdorf 7-0 on Saturday with both Sam Adeniran and George Bello featuring in the victory. Adeniran scored LASK’s fourth goal of the eventual rout while Bello started and also played 73 minutes at left wing back. Despite holding just a 1-0 lead at halftime, the floodgates opened for LASK in the second half with Adeniran finishing as one of four goalscorers on the afternoon. The 27-year-old tallied 15 goals for the league and cup winners last season and is already off the mark this summer. LASK will now aim for a winning start to Bundesliga play on July 31 against Grazer AK.
