Weekly Analysis and Reaction Locations [2026-07-27]E-mini S&P 500 FuturesCME_MINI:ES1!pavlusrockulusThe market is currently carrying a number of unfinished price levels, which could attract participation as price continues to auction through the current range. With the Fed rate decision scheduled this week, there is potential for increased volatility and a meaningful resolution of the range as the month comes to an end. The broader directional tendency remains down, so for Monday my focus will be on short-side opportunities. The primary locations of interest are the Algorithmic Reaction Zones, with particular attention on the zone that aligns with the Swing Range Volume Profile POC. This confluence provides the main area where I will be watching for a reaction and confirmation to develop. For swing positions, the Sub High will serve as the risk reference. The Internal High is sitting nearby, but I prefer to use the higher structural layer for the swing thesis. For intraday positions, the confirmation and local structure developed around the entry location will provide the risk reference. The primary downside targets are the Internal Low, Sub Low, and Sub Demand. Partials will be managed through the session VWAP deviations. Because the market has been ranging for an extended period, I have also included the Supply and Demand Targets. If the range continues to hold, these areas have the potential to act as reversal locations within the established range. Grab the chart or zoom out on the preview to see all zones. Trade Idea: I will be looking for downside positions from the Algorithmic Reaction Zones, particularly where they align with the Swing Range Volume Profile POC. The Sub High will serve as the swing risk reference, with the Internal Low, Sub Low, and Sub Demand as the primary downside targets. If price continues to rotate within the range, the Supply and Demand Targets become the areas I will monitor for potential reactions. A meaningful resolution of the range, especially around the Fed decision, would provide the next major directional information.
