Tesla remains weak after earningsTesla, Inc.BATS:TSLAFOREXcomAt the moment, Tesla shares continue to show significant weakness, accumulating a decline of more than 14% in the short term after the company released its results this week. In the report, Tesla posted earnings per share of 33 cents, below the 51 cents expected, while revenue came in at 28.24 billion dollars, above the 25.71 billion estimated. This reflects mixed results for the company, as sales exceeded expectations, but margins came in weaker than anticipated. This dynamic could be pointing to important cost pressures and has started to affect confidence around the stock. For now, the market appears concerned about the possibility that margins may not remain as solid during the rest of 2026, a factor that could continue to generate selling pressure on Tesla over the next few trading sessions. Long-term bearish trend gains relevance Over the last few months, Tesla shares have marked a sequence of lower highs, forming a consistent bearish trend line. This structure remains one of the most important technical references on the chart. With the new short-term selling pressure, this pattern is once again standing out as the dominant structure. As long as no relevant recoveries are seen that put this trend at risk, the bearish line could remain important over the coming trading weeks. MACD At the moment, the MACD histogram remains below the neutral 0 line, reflecting weakness in short-term moving averages. If this behavior continues, the indicator could keep showing a relevant selling bias for Tesla shares over the next few sessions. RSI The RSI shows a similar dynamic, as the indicator continues to move below the neutral 50 level. This reflects a dominance of selling impulses over the last few sessions. However, the indicator line has started to approach the 30 level, an area associated with oversold signals. This could point to excessive short-term selling pressure and open room for possible bullish corrections over the next few sessions. Key levels to watch • 372 dollars – Relevant resistance: This level corresponds to previous weekly retracements and is currently the main bullish barrier to watch. Price movements toward this area could start to highlight a lack of clear direction in the market and open room for a relevant phase of indecision over the coming weeks. • 342 dollars – Near-term barrier: This area corresponds to a previous low zone on the chart and could act as a tentative level to watch in case of possible short-term bullish corrections. • 298 dollars – Key support: This low zone has not been seen since August 2025 and represents an important psychological level. At the moment, it remains the most relevant bearish barrier in the short term. Price movements toward this area could reinforce a more consistent selling bias and even open room for a more aggressive bearish trend line over the coming weeks.
