BITCOIN: The First Crack in the FOUNDATION! Will $76K Hold???BitcoinCRYPTO:BTCUSDAkeelahTradersWell, Traders, if you read our Weekly Bitcoin analysis, you already know we've been talking about the missing retest after Bitcoin made that HUGE run from around $60K to over $87K. And now we're beginning to see why that missing retest matters. The market has already given us the first warning that this building may not be as strong as everybody thought. Look at the Daily Demand Zone around $80,100 to $81,500. This was the area that buyers needed to defend if Bitcoin was going to continue pushing higher without a larger correction. But yesterday, Bitcoin closed BELOW $80,100! Now, today we're back around $80,100 to $80,200, and I can already hear somebody saying, "See, Bitcoin is recovering! The bulls are back!" Well, maybe. But not so fast. A BREAK IS A BREAK! Once that Daily candle closed below the bottom of our Demand Zone, the market told us something important. The buyers who had been defending that area were no longer strong enough to prevent a close below it. And when I see a break like this, particularly after such an extended move, I'm looking for a pullback. Now, here's where we have to be careful. The Weekly structure is still bullish, and there's a Weekly Demand Zone sitting just below us around $76K to $79K. So this is NOT the time to blindly jump into a short and assume Bitcoin is going to collapse. We have to watch what happens when price reaches that Weekly Demand. Here's how I'm looking at this. If Bitcoin pulls into the $76K to $79K Weekly Demand Zone and buyers give us a strong bullish response, then the larger Weekly structure may still have enough strength to push the market back up. If we get a Weekly candle CLOSE below $76K, then I would expect the larger correction to begin taking shape, with the next major area around our Monthly level at $71,400. If $71,400 doesn't hold, then my attention shifts to that former Weekly Supply Zone around $63K to $66K. That's the area Bitcoin never returned to test after its Weekly BOS UP...and it sits right inside that HUGE Fair Value Gap the run left behind. And there's one more possibility I want you to keep in mind. Bitcoin could push back up BEFORE making that larger move down. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see this market return to the Daily BOS Supply Source around $84K to $87K and give everybody one more reason to believe the bull run is back in full force. But unless we get the structural confirmation to support that move, I'm going to be watching very carefully for rejection. Remember, the Market Makers don't have to move in a straight line to reach their targets. Sometimes the market moves back up just long enough to convince everybody that the danger has passed. And then...SURPRISE! So don't let a couple of green candles make you forget what the larger structure is showing us. The Weekly Demand Zone is where I expect the real battle between buyers and sellers to take place. And if that Weekly support fails, there's a whole lot of unfinished business sitting below this market. Trade what you SEE. Not what you THINK.
