I'm Yekta, from İzmir, Turkey. ARIA is a free map (no account) that estimates, for any spot on Earth, whether bees have a nectar flow now, whether it is rising or falling, and what flowers this month and next. It is built only from open data: iNaturalist flowering photos, satellite greenness and the weather. What changed since I first posted it here: tap a place and press Share: you get a card with that place's flow and what is in flower, which is how it travels in beekeepers' group chats every reading has an "is this right?" button; beekeepers' corrections have already added plants the photos missed around the map there is a record app: visits you speak instead of type (works offline), a medicine record with withdrawal dates, and honey batches sealed with a QR page Map: https://www.ariabuzz.com/en/map?ref=reddit How it's made and where it's wrong: https://www.ariabuzz.com/en/method The map is free and stays free; Pro ($6/month) is for beekeepers who sell honey. I'd most like to hear where it is wrong for your area. submitted by /u/anatolian_apiary [link] [comments]
