Open Design (an open-source AI design tool) currently only ships desktop builds for macOS and Windows, so I built a small Linux launcher for it. It builds from source, opens in an isolated Chromium app window, adds a launcher/dock entry, and has a GTK4 updater that checks upstream releases. While most of the code was done with AI assistance, I reviewed, tested and debugged it myself: Fedora (GNOME) as my main setup, plus Arch, Ubuntu 24.04, Mint and Omarchy in VMs. Other setups are best-effort.
