We built a preventive health app for women in Panama. It’s live, but almost nobody is using it yet.

Wait 5 sec.

Hey r/SideProject. We’re a small team from Panama, and a few months ago we launched NesaConfía. It’s a web app that helps women understand their predisposition to certain diseases and build habits to take care of themselves early. The reason is simple. Here, many women juggle a job, kids and aging parents. Their own health keeps getting pushed to next month. Then next year. We wanted to give them a tool that fits into a busy day. What it does: Asks questions about habits, lifestyle and family history Uses AI to analyze the answers and show your predisposition Gives personalized recommendations and lets you track habits Connects you with doctors, labs, restaurants and gyms at special prices The hardest part so far? Making health questions feel friendly. Medical forms are scary and boring. We rewrote ours many times to sound like a friend asking, and we’re still not sure we got it right. Now we face the classic problem. The product works, and the users haven’t shown up. Building was the easy part. Link: app.nesaconfia.com (the app is in Spanish) I’d really value your eyes on it: Does the landing page make you want to sign up? Where does the sign-up flow feel slow or confusing? If you’ve grown a B2C app in a small market, what worked for you? That last question matters a lot to us. Panama is a country of about 4 million people, so every channel counts. Thanks for reading. I’ll answer every comment. submitted by /u/guelmint [link] [comments]
