Welcome to another Arsecast Extra, the Arsenal podcast, with myself and James from @gunnerblog. In this episode we look back at the 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday afternoon. Arsenal grabbed a first set-piece goal of the new season through Ezri Konsa, and it was an early goal too, something we haven’t seen a lot of this season. We chat about how we ought to have been further ahead at the break having played very well, Mikel Arteta making another triple change and we examine the reasons for that, and Gabriel scoring his first goal of the season to give us a nice cushion in a game we absolutely deserved to win. There’s also discussion of Bukayo Saka’s injury against Bayern Munich and whether how he’s used needs to change when he returns, before we answer listener questions about the 8 second rule going against David Raya, what kind of team/squad we should expect for the game against Fleetwood Town, Max Dowman’s minutes, the state of play at Man Utd, managers and their technical areas, and lots more.
