Arsenal face a challenging Premier League trip to Liverpool this weekend following their League Cup match against Fleetwood Town in midweek. Mikel Arteta’s side will be eager to secure a victory at Anfield, where they have struggled to achieve positive results in recent years.Liverpool head into the encounter after beating Brighton, the only team to have defeated Arsenal this season. The result suggests that the Reds are beginning to find their rhythm after an inconsistent start to the campaign, making the upcoming clash an important test for both sides. However, Liverpool have reportedly suffered a significant injury concern ahead of the meeting, with Florian Wirtz potentially facing a spell on the sidelines.Liverpool face Wirtz injury concernThe German midfielder impressed against Brighton, showing the quality and creativity that have made him an important player for Liverpool. His performances have increasingly demonstrated his ability to influence games, and his presence could have been valuable against Arsenal.According to Liverpool Echo, the injury Wirtz sustained against Brighton could prove serious. The midfielder reportedly twisted his ankle, raising concerns that he may need several days to recover. His availability for the Arsenal fixture is therefore in doubt, although his absence has not been confirmed. Should Wirtz miss the match, it would represent a setback for Liverpool and potentially give the Gunners an advantage ahead of a difficult away fixture.Arsenal will be monitoring the situation closely as they prepare for one of their toughest tests of the season. The long wait for another win highlights the challenge facing the current squad.Since taking charge, Arteta has helped Arsenal overcome several unwanted records, and he will be determined to add another achievement to that list this weekend. A victory against Liverpool would represent a significant statement in their Premier League campaign.Any absence among Liverpool’s key players could improve Arsenal’s prospects, particularly if Wirtz is ruled out. Nevertheless, the Gunners will need to remain focused and take their chances against a side that appears to be gaining momentum._____________________________________________________________________________________________ADMIN COMMENTSo here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans.
