There is a BBQ place near me, where you order at a register, they give you a locator thing to put on your table (you seat yourself) runners deliver food and then other people bus tables. It has a tip screen. I always selected “no tip,” but last time I asked “who do these tips go to?” since this involves three people not assigned to sections, and she just shrugged her shoulders. Pretty sure she knows where the tips are going and it’s not to anyone involved in getting me my food, but she can’t really say “the owners are grifting.”
