In that spirit, here's my humble Halloween gift for all the folks who don't have legal training but still gotta sign contracts: Escape the Contracts Graveyard is a free tool to help you negotiate standard commercial NDAs. You start by creating a free account. You can customize account-level settings to tell the tool what you would or wouldn't like to agree to. This should be easy as pie to navigate, whether it's your first NDA ever or your 500th. From there, the tool guides you through the negotiation workflow, helping you review draft NDAs against your rules, apply edits, and draft effective emails to keep your deal moving. The tool also captures insights to help you understand your negotiation patterns. It tracks things like how long negotiations take, how long things sit with you vs the other side, and what gets negotiated the most.
