I'm building a monthly murder mystery you solve in your browser, with new evidence every week

Wait 5 sec.

I'm a software engineer and I've always loved detective games, so I'm building Exhibit Nine: one new murder case every month, released in 4 weekly episodes (the crime and suspects, then new evidence and twists, then the accusation). Each episode takes 45–60 minutes. You read suspects' social profiles, unlock their phones by deducing passcodes from the evidence, pin clues on a case board, and play solo or with up to 3 friends. Right now it's only a landing page with a waitlist, to check that people actually want this before I build the full game. There's one real clue from the first case on the page (the victim's smartwatch data) if you want to try it. https://exhibit9.com/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=sideproject Honest feedback welcome: would you play weekly episodes, or would you rather get the whole case at once? submitted by /u/Bahrouch1995 [link] [comments]
