So, I have two PS5s: a Slim Digital in my living room and a fat Disc Edition in my gaming room. I don't play online on either console since I use my PC for that. My Slim Digital is currently on firmware 11.60, and I plan to keep it there. My fat Disc Edition is on 12.20, though, and I'm debating whether I should update it to 13.60. The main reason I'm considering updating is that I occasionally come across games that require backporting, so it'd be nice to have one console running a newer, relatively stable jailbreak firmware that supports more games natively. It would also let me pick up newer disc games for my collection, provided they're compatible with firmware 13.60. Since I already have the Slim Digital on 11.60, I'm thinking it might make sense to keep that one on its current firmware and use the fat Disc Edition as my more up-to-date jailbroken console. Do you think updating the fat PS5 to 13.60 is worth it, or would I be better off staying on 12.20? What is your take?
