The players they’ve got, they’ve spent a fortune, brought good players in. He’s got a squad there that I keep saying will finish in the top six and I still think they will.”Tim Sherwood was also in the studio and the former Spurs manager backed Tottenham to continue climbing the table. He highlighted the money spent in the summer before backing them to beat Crystal Palace at the weekend. He said: “I think it’s a club that’s unrecognisable from the old regime. I know it’s the same regime but different management there at the moment. “I’ve never seen a manager get that much money that early in the transfer window and then he identifies the players he wants out of the club and they let them go. They give away Djed Spence, really give away Cristian Romero, give away! But he just wanted them out.“They’ve spent nearly £400 million not to finish 10th surely!? And I think their result at Old Trafford, that performance, getting that last-minute one, and they’ve picked up a few results since. Chelsea, no one wins at Chelsea, no Tottenham manager goes to Chelsea and wins, it’s a graveyard. Everything’s on a positive. I think they’ll beat Palace.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Overlap Daily (@overlapdaily)Spurs backed to beat struggling Palace by Harry RedknappCrystal Palace have certainly not enjoyed a strong start to the Premier League season, having lost five of their opening eight matches and conceded 19 goals, the most in the division. That run has left them sitting 17th, making Spurs clear favourites heading into the weekend. Redknapp also backed Tottenham to beat the Eagles, believing Palace could find themselves dragged into a relegation battle. He added: “Palace are the team, you know. The three that came up are obviously favourites to go down but if anyone was going to get sucked in, Palace would be your favourite.”The former Spurs boss was then asked if he would have loved to have had £400 million at the beginning of his tenure. To which he replied: “Oh my God, what a team you could’ve built.”Redknapp then revealed that Archie Gray is his favourite player at Tottenham at the moment, praising the teenager’s maturity and versatility. He said: “I like the boy Gray. He’s one of them, you know. He’s just been incredible really, what he’s done since he’s been there.“Right-back, centre-half, you know. They’ve even made him captain this year at one time.”READ MORE: Tottenham set to miss out on Ballon d’Or bonus payment after Daniel Levy blunderThe post Harry Redknapp predicts where Tottenham will finish after big Chelsea away win appeared first on Spurs Web.
